About the Institute
Physical chemistry, chemical physics and theoretical chemistry are the main foci of the Institute, this including experiment, theory and applications. The Institute was created in 1993 by uniting three groups of physical chemistry, quantum chemistry and information recording technology. Its mission is to offer a ground for cooperation for three types of scientific activity: theoretical, experimental and applied. The Institute has a strongly interdisciplinary character. Among its 32 faculty members and teaching assistants 23 are chemists (by education), 6 are physicists and 3 are materials scientists; 14 staff members represent theoretically oriented research, 18 pursue experimental work. The Institute employs 7 full professors, one associate professor and 5 assistant professors. Currently, the Institute is constituted by the following research groups:

2010-07-04 00:42 2010-07-08 00:00 Etc/GMT+2 Modeling and Design of Molecular Materials is a biannual conference devoted to contemporary computational methods along with their applications in molecular modeling, molecular material design and related fields. Participation of experimentalists interested in applied molecular modeling is encouraged.
As with previous events, refereed conference proceedings will be published in 2011 in the Journal of Molecular Modeling. All conference lectures during the 2010 edition of MDMM will be held in the D-20 building at Wroclaw University of Technology, 8 Janiszewskiego Street.
