Physics and Chemistry of Molecular Materials

The research of the group concentrates on various molecular materials applicable in photonics, molecular electronics and sensing technologies.

  • Photosensitive materials able to serve as a heart of real-time holographic devices.
  • Kinetics of chemical reactions in a series of novel photochromic organic systems, employing isothermal and non-isothermal techniques adapted from solid-state and dielectric physics.
  • Deposition and measurements of spectra and electrical properties of Langmuir-Blodgett films of low-molecular materials and conducting polymers.
  • Characterisation of organic Field Effect Transistors. Measurements of light induced changes of charge carriers mobility in conducting polymers.
